Graduated Sapphire Necklace
Have you ever thought about a necklace made of solid sapphires? It may be hard to believe, but expert stone cutters take the small sapphires that cannot be faceted and shape them into tiny beads. We take those beads and turn them into a really special necklace. The image is magnified to show the individual texture of the beads, but the overall effect is a soft strand of deep pastel blue. How many people can say they own a several hundred carat sapphire necklace?
The overall length is 18 inches, with tiny 2mm rondelles at the clasp and a larger 3.5-4mm rondelle at the center.
